Guardtower East
I’ve never been a huge Guardtower person, but I gotta say that I low key love Guardtower East. It’s chill, the people are nice, and they have an interesting assortment of RPG stuff (Brindlewood Bay! Runequest Glorantha! etc.).

This seems like a nice spot: slightly and pleasantly scruffy, lived in, with interesting offerings and welcoming staff. Not super well stocked, but what’s there is interesting. The RPG section has the usual D&D, but a few indies as well. The employee who was working was a thoughtful advocate of the work of local game designers, which you always like to see.
Round Table seems like a great game store. Good crowd on a weeknight, friendly staff, and an extensive variety of merchandise (lots of board games, lots of RPGs, a wealth of TCG stuff to pick from). Located inside the mall, this store has a decent selection of Warhammer/GW, D&D, TCGs, etc; almost all new stuff (at least on the RPG side), and not much beyond your standard WotC 5e fare. Not my sort of store, to be frank, but I’m glad they seem to be doing well (and in Cumberland, MD, no less!). ...
With its lively crowd and good selection, Total Escape Games is so close to being a great game store. ...
